Chelsea 3-1 Sunderland player ratings as Eden Hazard shines once again for Blues

Posted by

John Obi Mikel 6

It was an unspectacular performance from the holding midfielder, but it was probably his strongest game of the season.

Nemanja Matic 7

Another excellent effort patrolling the back four, and stopping Sunderland creating any openings in the second half.

Juan Cuadrado 7

Looked lively early on and created a golden chance in the opening minutes which Didier Drogba was unable to convert. His trickery won the penalty for the equaliser. Probably his strongest performance since his January move.

Eden Hazard 8

He recovered from a quiet first-half to put on another scintillating display in the second-half. His skill set up Loic Remy for their second goal.

Willian 8

Caused Sunderland’s defence a number of headaches with his trickery and tireless running.
