Chilean looks set to complete Emirates Stadium switch.
Arsenal appear to be edging ever closer to signing Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal with the Sunday Mirror reporting that the Chilean’s agent was present at the FA Cup final.
The Gazzetta dello Sport claim the 28 year old is the subject of a £25m offer from the north London side and that Vidal’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, was at Wembley to watch Arsenal dispatch Aston Villa 4-0.
Vidal has been a key performer since moving to Turin in 2011, helping the club to four successive Serie A titles, but it appears he may be sacrificed as Massimiliano Allegri lines up moves to spend big this summer.
Allegri wants PSG forward Edinson Cavani and Palermo youngster Paulo Dybala and appears ready to sell South American Vidal to help fund such moves.
The presence of national team colleague Alexis Sanchez may well be providing an extra incentive for Vidal to move to the north London side though it’s unlikely any deal will be announced until after the upcoming Champions League final between Juventus and Barcelona.
