MC: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool)
A much improved season from Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, who has looked a real leader and who could be the club’s next captain.
MC: James McCarthy (Everton)
A player who improves all the time, James McCarthy impressed for Everton again this year with some commanding midfield displays.
MC: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Not at his best, but Steven Gerrard showed he’s still got it with some energetic displays, fine goals and good stats from the Reds’ midfield.
