The 31-year-old could be on his way to Ligue 1 side Bastia having fallen down the Arsenal pecking order.

Attacking midfielder Joel Campbell is being strongly linked with a move to Besiktas with a £3.5m deal having been agreed between the two clubs.

The 23-year-old has struggled to make an impression at Arsenal, spending most of his time at the club out on loan, and a move to the Turkish side could help to re-ignite the Costa Rican international’s career.

Finally Everton are set to make a move for keeper David Ospina, the Colombian no doubt considering his options following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

The Toffees are believed to have made a £5m offer for the 26-year-old with Roberto Martinez looking to bring in a long term replacement for veteran American Tim Howard.
