United target to sign in big-money move.
Manchester City look to be closing in on a £28.5m deal to sign Valencia defender and long-time Manchester United target Nicolas Otamendi.
The Argentine international recently skipped training in order to help force a move, and it now looks like he will get his wish and join the Etihad Stadium club in a big-money deal.
Otamendi has impressed as one of the best centre-backs in Europe in recent times, and should make a fine addition for City in what has been a problem position for Manuel Pellegrini.

According to the Daily Mail, Otamendi’s arrival will see Eliaquim Mangala head to the Mestalla on a season-long loan as part of the move.
