Liverpool target Thiago Motta is looking increasingly likely to leave the Parc des Princes this summer with the Metro stating that are ‘cleared’ to complete the signing of the experienced midfielder.

The 32-year-old former Barcelona and Inter Milan star is into the final year of his current PSG contract and has not been handed a new deal which has led to Motta speaking out in relation to his future in the French capital.

‘I know my importance in the team, but the club don’t think like that.

‘I respect what the president has said, even if I don’t agree with him. The transfer window is open. We’re going to see – I’m open to every situation.’ Motta added.
