Manchester United have reacted to the news that Chelsea are going to sign Barcelona star Pedro ahead of them by moving on to two other targets, reports the Daily Express.
First of all the Red Devils are thought to have made a £15 million bid for Southampton ace Sadio Mane. However, the South Coast side want closer to £25 million for the winger, who scored the fastest Premier League hat trick ever last season.
The 23-year-old joined the Saints less than a year ago, but enjoyed a successful debut campaign in the top flight. He managed ten goals and three assists in 30 appearances in the division, helping the team to finish seventh in the division and qualify for the Europa League.
The winger could be perfect to augment Louis van Gaal’s attack, with the manager complaining recently that he doesn’t have enough pace in the final third. Mane could certainly help with that issue, being one of the fastest players in the league.
