Thomas Muller was over the moon with Joshua Kimmich’s Champions League goal against Arsenal as the German star has put the Bundesliga club on the brink of the semi-finals.

The game has been a very even affair with the Gunners controlling most of the first half. However, Bayern have started the second 45 the better of the two teams and were rewarded for upping the intensity of the clash.

The goal came after 63 minutes as Arsenal fell asleep to allow Joshua Kimmich to head in an impressive goal, leaving the Premier League club with a tough task to get through to the semi-finals.

Thomas Muller is one of the senior figures in Thomas Tuchel’s squad and the 34-year-old loved the opening goal at the Allianz Arena on the sideline.

  1. Saka suffers from limpdick with last poor kick and corner of the game. TOMY was poor also in defence. Havertz was on the pitch but not on the ball. Arteta must now realise that he needs a world class striker that can produce against the worlds best. Also another defensive midfielder to release rice up the field. Jorginho is no longer good enough against top opposition. The leftback role needs to be examined. Perhaps Timber is the answer.

  2. Arsenal failed because they did not address getting a quality striker in the last transfer window. This has been the problem for a few years now.
