City star came close to leaving Etihad.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure came agonisingly close to leaving the club for Inter Milan this summer before a late change in heart, according to Roberto Mancini.

The Italian tactician, who worked with the Ivory Coast international during his time in charge at the Etihad Stadium, was desperate for a reunion with the player at the San Siro.

However, according to Goal.com, this move couldn’t quite be pushed through.
