According to reports in Italy, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in danger of missing out on Inter Milan skipper Mauro Icardi.

The Nerazzurri hitman is enduring a tricky season in Serie A, and despite being captain of the Lombardy heavyweights, he was been in and out of the side under coach Roberto Mancini.

A reportedly uneasy relationship with the manager hasn’t helped [Goal], and while the fallen giants of Serie A are enjoying a fine campaign and currently sit atop Serie A after 13 matches, having won nine and lost only one of their games to date.

However, while Inter’s defence—they have conceded only seven goals—has been the best in the league, they have scored only 16 goals, fewer than title rivals Napoli, Fiorentina and AS Roma. Even Juventus in sixth, who have had a testing start to the season, have more goals.

22-year-old Icardi has been tipped for the exit door, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all understood to be keen on his services according to Tuttosport [via Calcio Mercato].
