Wanda Nara, the wife of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, will reportedly decide whether the player leaves Italy for either Arsenal or Manchester City, according to reports in Tuttosport.
The 22-year-old was handed the captain’s armband at Inter over the summer, but so far manager Robert Mancini has been unable to guarantee him a regular starting spot in the side.
And because of that he is believed to be weighing up his options ahead of the January window, with Nara set to decide whether he departs for London or Manchester.
The report claims that a deal already looks to be done, with all that’s left to decide is which city she would rather live in.
It is widely believed that Arsene Wenger saw a £28.8million deal for the striker turned down over the summer, but the Frenchman will resume his pursuit of the player once again in the new year.
