Forget all of Mesut Ozil’s assists because Riyad Mahrez just blew him out of the water.
The Arsenal playmaker is the assist king with 16 already this season and seems sure to beat the Premier League record of 20 in a campaign, currently held by former Gunners striker Thierry Henry.
But not even he can claim to have supplied a goal as cheekily or elegantly as Mahrez did with this flip-flap nutmeg of Philipp Wollscheid, and square pass for Leonardo Ulloa, against Stoke City.

What sorcery is this?! Mahrez is perhaps unfortunate that this outrageous piece of skill will go under the radar on a day when Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli scored a goal of the season contender.

Ulloa’s goal was Leicester’s second at the King Power Stadium. Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy also scored as they ran out 3-0 winners to go three points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table.
The Gunners can regain top spot when they host rivals Chelsea tomorrow. Over to you, Mesut!
