The Premier League appears to have morphed into a two-horse race between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur after the Spurs got a come-from-behind victory over Swansea City to grab a much-needed three points.
The Spurs certainly had cause for concern going into the first half after conceding a goal to Swansea City. Between numerous blown opportunities to score and a frustrating number of blocked shots, the fans at White Hart Lane may have thought they’d finish the day with no points.
Luckily, Nacer Chadli was there to salvage the game, securing a goal in the second half that Swans GK Lucasz Fabianski had no chance to defend in order to equalize.
The rest of the Spurs offense came to life afterwards and began attacking with no holding back. At the 77′ mark, Danny Rose broke the tie Tottenham’s favor with an absolute cannon of a shot to secure a lead the club would no give up for the remaining minutes.
With the win, Tottenham Hotspur move just two points behind Leicester City and three points ahead of Arsenal, who lost to Man United in a 3-2 away defeat.
The Spurs face a stiff test next week when they take on Arsenal.
