Martin Odegaard continues to demonstrate that he’s the real deal with a fine assist during a Real Madrid training session.

Great things are expected of Odegaard, who is just 17, and his blossoming technical prowess and composure under pressure was demonstrated in a training session this week.

In the brief clip [shared via AS], the midfielder finds himself one on one with the goalkeeper, and appears to give the stopper a sniff of the ball with a somewhat loose first touch.

However, it appears to be a ruse by the Norway international, who nonchalantly draws the keeper on before flicking the ball to his left, and to the feet of Isco, who finishes with aplomb.

Odegaard, who was born in 1998, spent the best part of six years with Stromgodset in his homeland, before signing for Real Madrid in 2015.

While the youngster made his first-team debut in the final game of last season, coming on for Cristiano Ronaldo in a 7-3 victory over Getafe, having previously been part of the squad for a Bernabeu bout against Almeria under the tutelage of then-coach Carlo Ancelotti
