AS Roma chief Jim Pallotta has entertained the thought of playmaker Miralem Pjanic leaving the capital club this summer.

The Bosnia international is coming off the back of a superb campaign in Serie A, where he was one of the key protagonists as Roma improved their form under Luciano Spalletti and clinched the third Champions League spot.

The attacking midfielder shone over 41 appearances, scoring 12 goals and contributing 13 assists, and has form has alerted some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Both Barcelona and Chelsea are understood to have been casting admiring glances at the playmaker, while Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on making the Eastern European one of his first signings at Manchester United.

While Pallotta—in quotes as relayed by the Express—isn’t keen on losing one of his prized assets, he’s admitted that he’s bracing himself for one of Pjanic’s suitors to meet his £30 million fee release clause.
