Besiktas president in England to complete Samir Nasri transfer from Man City

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in England trying to complete the loan transfer of out-of-favour Manchester City star Samir Nasri a source close to the Black Eagles club told Emre Sarigul.

Negotiations have reached an advanced stage and the Istanbul giants are close to an agreement however, they have yet to strike a deal over payment of wages.

The Premier League outfit want Besiktas to cover his wages in full but the Eagles want City to cover at least part of the bill.

Besiktas have to be careful with their spending due to FFP obligations but the club would be able to cover his wages over the course of the season.

Nasri has fallen out of favour with City boss Pep Guardiola and is not expected to feature in his plans this season.

The two-time Premier League winner would be set for first team and Champions League football this season if he were to make the switch.
