Man City transfer news: Nasri’s agent wants €6.5m guarantee amid exit talks

Besiktas president Fikret Orman has been locked in talks with Manchester City over the loan transfer of Samir Nasri a source close to the club told Emre Sarigul

Negotiations have reached an advanced stage however, there is still no agreement regarding payment of wages.

Nasri’s agent wants a guarantee on the €6.75m his client would earn if he were to stay at the club but City want Besiktas to cover this salary.

The Black Eagles would be unable to cover his wages but would compromise by paying half.

Besiktas are under financial constraints due to being under the watch of FFP and would not be able to pay his wages in full.

Nasri has fallen out of favour with City boss Pep Guardiola who has left him out of his team this season including the Champions League clash tonight.

Man City match day squad:

Manchester City: Hart, Maffeo, Stones, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernando, Toure, Delph, Nolito, Navas, Iheanacho

Subs: Gunn, Adarabioyo, Angelino, Fernandinho, Aguero, Sterling, Silva
