(Video) Crystal Palace striker scores fastest ever World Cup qualification goal

Crystal Palace striker Cristian Benteke scored the fastest ever goal for the Belgium national team when he found the back of the net inside seven seconds against Gibraltar.

The goal was also the fastest ever in World Cup qualification history according to the official FIFA World Cup twitter account.

Benteke also provided the assist for Witsel’s second goal and went onto score the third going into the half time break.

Belgium go into half-time with a 3-0 lead against the European minnows.
