Manchester United outcast out to prove that he is good enough to play for the club

Manchester United outcast Adnan Januzaj is out to prove that he is good enough to play for the club, report Manchester Evening News.

Januzaj was shipped out on loan to Sunderland in the summer, but MEN quote him in revealing that he has not given up hope of making it at Old Trafford: “I don’t have any time to waste I have to prove again that I am a worthy Manchester United player.”

Adnan Januzaj broke onto the scene at United as a teenager under David Moyes. He scored a superb brace away from home against Sunderland to win his side the game from a goal down.

He was sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund last campaign but it was a move that wasn’t beneficial for either party. He was recalled by United in January but was starved of opportunities by Louis Van Gaal.

When Jose Mourinho arrived it became even clearer that Januzaj wasn’t going to get a look-in. He subsequently moved to Sunderland on a season-long loan, where he is yet to score or provide an assist in the Premier League.

The Belgian is still optimistic that he can prove his worth to Mourinho, though. If he wants to do so, he needs to start performing.
