Manchester City have taken the lead against Watford at the Etihad thanks to an unlikely goal from Pablo Zabaleta.
City’s stuttering recent form has seen them fall to fourth place in the Premier League, seven points behind leaders Chelsea. Pep Guardiola cannot allow that deficit to grow, and they are well on their way to preventing it this evening.
Pablo Zabaleta arrived late at the back post to volley home Kevin De Bruyne’s cross and give his side the lead. It is his first goal for City since December 2014 where he found the back of the net in a 2-0 victory over Roma.
