‘You can’t say no to Barcelona’ – Serie A star drops major hint to also alert rivals

AC Milan playmaker Suso has revealed that it would be difficult to turn down a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid if they came knocking.

The 23-year-old has established himself as a key figure at Milan, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists in 37 appearances last season, while building tallies of three goals and four assists in 10 games so far this year.

Having found his feet and settled with the Italian giants, he’s now revealed that although he’s more than happy to stay with them as he looks set to sign a new contract, he would find it difficult to say no to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

“If the teams that want you are Real Madrid or Barça, you can’t say no. But Milan have always said they don’t want to transfer me and I’ve always said that I want to stay here,” he is quoted as saying by Sport.

The Spanish international adds that both Roma and Inter have previously tried to sign him, but he’s happy that Milan rejected their advances in order to keep him.

There’s no denying that coach Vincenzo Montella rates him highly and has given him a prominent role in the side since he was appointed.

In turn, it would seem illogical to move on now, but clearly Suso has an affection for the two La Liga giants and their appeal is difficult to ignore if they do attempt to prise a player away from their current club.

It seems Suso would have the same problem, and now it remains to be seen whether or not Barcelona or Madrid are impressed enough by his form in Italy to consider a swoop.
