Nemanja Matic believes that a certain Manchester United youngster will become a great at Old Trafford.
Matic is referring to the 20-year-old Scott McTominay who has impressed since being given an opportunity this season to represent the Red Devils. Talking to MUTV the Serb expressed how impressed he is with the young star and added he would do everything to help McTominay achieve his potential.

Talking to MUTV, Matic stated: “I think Scott is going to be a great player and already is a great player,” adding, ““He’s very young, very talented and physically strong. […] I’m going to help him in training because I think with his potential he’s going to be a big star for Manchester United.”
With a current injury crisis hitting Old Trafford the Reds have struggled with their limited midfielders fit enough to play but McTominay has stepped up and impressed many around him.
Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini are all currently sidelined with injures which has allowed the 20-year-old to gain some vital paying time, which he has grasped with both hands.
McTominay impressed in United’s 2-0 victory over Benfica last night and looked composed and assured in the heart of the United midfield despite his age and inexperience.
His opportunities at Old Trafford could continue into the future with the Sun this week reporting that Belgian midfielder Fellaini has been spotted in Turkey ahead of a possible move to the Turkish League. Subsequently this could allow the 20-year-old to move up the midfield pecking order if Fellaini was to depart.
Alongside the extremely talented Marcus Rashford and now with the rise of McTominay the future is certainly looking bright for United.
