Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly keen for his club to bring in a versatile attacking player in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Independent claim the Blues boss expects to be busy this winter, with an unnamed forward who can play anywhere across the front three thought to be his priority.
Chelsea signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid in the summer, but the Premier League champions haven’t made the best of starts and look as though they could do with further additions.
Michy Batshuayi does not look much of a backup at the moment, and doesn’t seem to have the trust of Conte after starting just six games all season long in all competitions.

The Sun have recently linked Eden Hazard as a shock transfer target for Manchester United, so it may be that Conte is also keen to have reinforcements ready in case he does lose the Belgian.
While the Independent doesn’t name these players, the Sun have recently linked Chelsea with Leon Bailey and the Mirror report of interest in Thomas Lemar.
These players sound like they could fit the bill of what Conte is after this January.
