Manchester City aren’t finished with £57m Laporte deal as they eye a Serie A defender, Barcelona and Real Madrid also interested in star

Manchester City are eyeing a move for Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar with Barcelona and Real Madrid both also reportedly interested in the young centre-back.

The Guardian have reported that Manchester City have agreed a club-record fee of £57m for Atletico Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte and could now be further bolstering their defensive depth with a move for Inter’s Skriniar.

Football Italia have today reported that Manchester City are one of three clubs eyeing a move Skriniar.

The report states that Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring the 22-year-old who has impressed at centre-back since emerging into the Inter side upon his arrival last year from Serie A side Sampdoria.

Skriniar has also been capped at international level for Slovakia over ten times despite his young age and has added goalscoring to his game since singing to Inter scoring three times this season.
