Chelsea star makes two big demands if he is to complete Real Madrid transfer

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has reportedly made two big demands ahead of completing a potential transfer to Real Madrid this summer.

Although the Times have linked the £200million-rated Hazard as a target for Real Madrid and as wanting to be allowed the move, it seems it comes with conditions.

The Belgium international is eager to be a key man at the Bernabeu and does not want the club to pursue the signing of Neymar if he joins as it would threaten his status in the side, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish outlet also suggests Hazard wants big money to make the move to Real, asking for around £17million a year from the club – a significant increase on his Chelsea wages, according to the report.

It will be interesting to see how much Los Blancos are willing to invest in the 27-year-old, who, for all his qualities, looks a tad expensive if the Times and Don Balon reports regarding his transfer fee and wage demands are correct.

Hazard has also never been anything like as prolific as Cristiano Ronaldo, which, like it or not, is the player he’s likely to be compared to if he makes the move to Madrid.

One of the biggest names in the world, Hazard has only ever managed 22 goals in all competitions in a single season, with 19 being his highest tally at Chelsea.

This is some way off Ronaldo figures, and it might mean more investment is needed in that Madrid attack, with Don Balon also linking the European Champions with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
