Manchester United working to sign £92million duo, including Arsenal transfer target

Manchester United are reportedly in talks to sign Ivan Perisic and also hold an interest in his Croatian World Cup team-mate Ante Rebic.

The latter is also mentioned as a target for Arsenal after a hugely impressive World Cup, with the pair to cost a combined £92million if United get them both, according to the Sun.

Perisic has been notably linked with Jose Mourinho’s side in the past and seems ideal for his demanding system, which has proven too much for the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford out wide.

With those two not yet performing at their best and Alexis Sanchez also slow to get going since his January move from Arsenal, Perisic seems an ideal signing for the Red Devils.

Rebic is another promising attacking player who could do a job for United and Arsenal, with the latter surely in need of wide players as upgrades on the likes of Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi.

Both clubs under-achieved in their own way last season, with United hoping to close the gap on Manchester City in the title race, while Arsenal will hope to get back into the top four under new manager Unai Emery, who has already made a number of new signings.
