Barcelona devise plan to beat Real Madrid to Galactico transfer

Barcelona have reportedly decided to test Chelsea’s resolve to keep Eden Hazard by offering them the transfer of Ousmane Dembele as part of the deal.

RMC have claimed Hazard has agreed terms to join Real Madrid, though it seems Barca may also be in the running for the Belgian’s signature this summer.

Dembele has struggled to impress at Barcelona so far, though he remains regarded as a promising player for the future after an impressive spell at Borussia Dortmund.

This could mean Chelsea would be tempted to accept a Hazard offer involving the France international, which the Catalan giants are now said to be willing to try, according to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, as translated by the Metro.

Dembele would also be an ideal like-for-like replacement for Hazard in Chelsea’s attack, saving them the difficult task of looking elsewhere for a new forward player with clubs knowing they’d have plenty of cash in their coffers and therefore most likely charging over the odds for their players.

Sport have also linked Chelsea with a potential move for Lyon star Nabil Fekir as Hazard is linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge.
