Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has discussed the speculation involving Eden Hazard’s potential transfer to Real Madrid this summer – and it’s good news for Chelsea fans.

Despite growing speculation that the Blues forward is on his way out of Stamford Bridge for a move to the Bernabeu, Terreur has revealed no real negotiations have yet taken place.
Terreur even slams Spanish press for citing reports in Belgium which state Hazard’s move to Madrid is close, suggesting they’ve had a bit of a mare on Google Translate.
None of the Belgian papers have reported that a deal is close. ? Google Translate must be having a day off. https://t.co/fTIjZK7bcP

In recent days French source Le 10 Sport seemed to suggest things were pretty much agreed for Chelsea to sell Hazard to Real, but things have since calmed down somewhat.
The Daily Mirror insist CFC are determined not to be bulled into a sale, meaning if Real are serious about getting this done it’ll most likely cost them over £170million.
It seems likely Los Blancos expected it to be expensive replacing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, so this might not be such a problem, but Chelsea fans needn’t worry too much about their club being walked all over, and as Terreur suggests, things may not be nearly as advanced as so many reports suggest anyway.
Hazard, 27, has two years remaining on his contract at the Bridge so Chelsea are not under huge pressure to give up and cash in on him this year.
