Liverpool star set for transfer talks after being ‘bitterly disappointed’ by Jurgen Klopp decision

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is reportedly ready to consider quitting the club this summer after being disappointed by the transfer swoop for Alisson.

The Reds recently announced the signing of the highly-rated Brazilian goalkeeper from Roma after he shone in Serie A and the Champions League last season.

Karius, meanwhile, always looked something of a weak link for Liverpool and showed it in the most important game of all as he dropped two absolute clangers in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

This looks to have cost him his LFC career as his club have spent big on bringing in Alisson in his place, and this has seemingly not gone down too well.

Karius is said to have been ‘bitterly disappointed’ by Jurgen Klopp’s decision to replace him with Alisson and could now look to leave Anfield before the end of the summer, according to the Telegraph.

The German shot-stopper has been linked by Don Balon with a surprise move to Bayern Munich, though he would surely only serve in a similar backup role there due to the presence of Manuel Neuer as no.1.

The Telegraph now state Karius will seek to discuss his future with Klopp before the end of the summer.
