Real Madrid are reportedly planning to finally make a splash in this summer’s transfer window with moves for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Mauro Icardi in the next few days.
According to Don Balon, Los Blancos would ideally like to have the signings from Lazio and Inter Milan wrapped up within the next ten days at least in a potential €200million double swoop.

This would be a major statement by Real, who could do with strengthening after finishing a fairly distant third in La Liga last season, and then losing star player Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
As well as that, Madrid have also had to cope with the departure of their immensely successful manager Zinedine Zidane after he decided to step down, with Julen Lopetegui coming in in his place.

Milinkovic-Savic is one of Europe’s top young players and seems an ideal fit for Real, while Icardi could also go some way to replacing the goal threat of Ronaldo up front.
It remains to be seen if both deals can be done in such a short space of time, with not that long remaining for Madrid to get their act together and bring players in before the end of the month.
