Barcelona are after €25M if they are to see Brazilian midfielder Rafinha leave the Nou Camp this summer.

This is according to Spanish news outlet AS, who note that the Blaugrana want the aforementioned fee if they are to sell the 25-year-old, and that both Real Betis and Benfica are keen on signing the player.

The report also states that Benfica would be willing to fork out €25M to secure the signing of Rafinha, something that may mean the player’s days at the Camp Nou are numbered.

Barcelona are after €25M if they are to see Rafinha leave the club this summer

It doesn’t seem like Rafinha will be getting much game time with Barca this year given the fact that the club have signed stars like Arthur Melo and Arturo Vidal this summer, so a move away for the Brazilian could prove to be a smart move for both parties.

With Rafinha having come through the ranks at the Nou Camp, the Brazilian leaving would see the club lose one of their longest serving stars.

However, this shouldn’t distract anyone from the fact that the midfielder has always struggled to hold down a first team spot with the Blaugrana, and a transfer to either Betis or Benfica would surely allow the player to gain more first team minutes.

Rafinha’s potential departure wouldn’t do Barca any harm, and getting in €25M for him would surely be a turn out for the books in the club’s eyes.
