Manchester United midfielder Fred may have been Jose Mourinho’s big summer signing, but he barely made any impact under the Portuguese at the start of this season.
Now, however, the Brazil international suddenly loos far more at home in this United squad, with fans hailing interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for getting the best out of him so quickly.

United cruised to a 5-1 win over Cardiff City in Solskjaer’s first game in charge last week, and they’re 1-0 up and comfortable against Huddersfield Town today at the time of writing.
Fred’s passing in the middle has been superb, with the faster style and slicker movement seeming to benefit his game massively.
Many fans have generally noticed an improvement from Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba alongside him too, and it makes sense that if one midfielder performs better, the unit in general is also likely to be stronger.
It may have been the Matic goal that’s made the difference so far, but United fans are loving the improvement from Fred…
Fred looks like a completely different player than what we saw sparingly under Mou. You can definitely tell he is in his comfort zone in this style of play.

Fred's playing better in the first 15mins than he has for all the rest of the games this season.
