Confirmed Man Utd XI vs PSG: These fans thrilled with Solskjaer’s line-up

Man Utd host PSG in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash on Tuesday night, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer naming a strong starting line-up.

The Red Devils have gone 11 games unbeaten under their interim boss since he took charge in December, but this will undoubtedly be one of his biggest tests yet.

Despite the fact that Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier are missing for the visitors, Thomas Tuchel still has plenty of world-class talent at his disposal.

However, that is certainly matched by plenty of quality on United’s side too, with Solskjaer unsurprisingly naming as strong a starting XI as possible, as seen in the club’s tweet below.

Given the form that they’ve been in under his stewardship thus far, the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba will be fundamental in midweek, as will the returning Victor Lindelof after he was left out at the weekend in the win over Fulham.

With Rashford and Lingard back in the starting line-up to join Martial in a front three, it undoubtedly gives the hosts plenty of pace and attacking threat in the final third.

Time will tell if they can find a way past the PSG backline to give United a positive result to take to Paris, while having Lindelof and Eric Bailly in the heart of their defence gives them a boost in trying to contain the likes of Kylian Mbappe.
