Jadon Sancho would supposedly love to seal a transfer to Manchester United, though Liverpool may also still be an option for the Borussia Dortmund star.
This is according to Fabrizio Romano, speaking with The United Stand, who states that the Red Devils continue to be part of an open race for Sancho’s signature.
He explains that Man Utd were also in for the England international last year, but they now face more competition to sign him this time around.

Romano mentions that Liverpool could be keen on Sancho as well, though that would likely be in the event that one of their current front three leaves Anfield.
In fairness, some Liverpool fans may well feel that wouldn’t be the worst thing, with both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino looking rather off the boil in recent times.
Sancho could be an ideal upgrade for the Reds and help them get back to their best next season after this highly disappointing campaign.
United fans will hope, however, that Sancho’s desire to move to Old Trafford can give them the edge in this transfer battle, as they also need to strengthen in attack.
Sancho would surely be a far superior option to the out-of-form Anthony Martial, as well as an upgrade on Daniel James and Jesse Lingard, who have not had regular playing time for a while now.
“It’s an open race,” Romano said. “What I’m told is it’s an open race. Last summer Manchester United were alone in the race, they had the opportunity to sign Sancho.
“They were really close and they didn’t sign him. Now United are in the race, the player loves the opportunity of joining Manchester United so his position is not changing.
“He would love to join Manchester United. But also Liverpool are looking at the player if they sell some players in attacking positions.
“Let’s see what happens with Chelsea. At the moment I’m told Chelsea have not had anything official with his agents or with Borussia Dortmund.”
