‘He just strolled around’ – Jenas blasts West Ham player after Aston Villa game

Pundit Jermaine Jenas has singled out Lucas Paqueta for West Ham for a really poor display, stating “he just strolled around”.

Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Jenas began by praising Paqueta as a great player and saying he has been brilliant for West Ham. However he went on to single him out for not doing enough to help his side, saying he was in “one of those moods” strolling around and wanting others to get the ball to him.

Aston Villa beat West Ham 4-1 with goals from Douglas Luiz (x2), Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey for Villa, and a goal from Jarrod Bowen for the Hammers.

Villa completely outclassed them on the day, dominating possession, having more shots and coming away deserved victors.

The Brazilian midfielder has made 11 appearances for West Ham in all competitions this campaign, scoring two goals, providing one assist and totalling 974 minutes of football.
