Leeds fans take bucket to Uruguay as present for ex Manager

Speaking on BBC Sport, on the Don’t go to bed just yet podcast Simon Kaiser spoke on how he and some other Leeds United fans took a bucket to Uruguay as a present for their ex manager Marcelo Bielsa.

On the podcast, they spoke about the hilarious struggles of getting the bucket (in a box) over the barriers at Kings Cross train station, and the box going on to the airplane.

After watching the Uruguay vs Brazil game, the next morning they were able to meet Bielsa at the training camp to have a chat and give him his present.

Bielsa was supposedly happy to hear that Daniel James was doing well too Kaiser said, after letting him know he is doing well for Leeds.

Leeds are currently third in the Championship under new manager Daniel Farke. Leeds have acquired 22 points in their opening 12 games, winning six, drawing four and losing only two so far this campaign.

This comes after Leeds rescued three points at the weekend after going 2-0 down to Norwich in the first half. In the second half, Leeds came out and scored three to win the game 3-2, with goals from Crysencio Summerville (x2) and a Shane Duffy own goal.
