As Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group can finally plough full steam ahead at Man United, there are bound to be a number of decisions that will not only shape how the club looks in the near future but also put a few backs up.
Hard-nosed business practise has long been missing at the club but with the right people seemingly now in charge, the urge to strike whilst the iron’s hot can’t be passed up.
Hitting the ground running now will ensure that the waters ahead are a lot calmer than they might otherwise be.
It’s likely that they’ll not get everything right, though if Sir Jim can at least get the buy in that the Glazer family never had, the Old Trafford faithful might be prepared to overlook the odd mis-step here or there.

According to Fussball News (h/t Fichajes), United’s top brass have lowered Mason Greenwood’s asking price to €40m.
That would indicate that there’s no way back for a player who has evidently split the fan base right down the middle.
A player of incredible footballing talent but whose decision making in his personal life saw him hit the headlines.
It seems clear that the new regime would prefer to wash their hands of Greenwood at this point, with La Liga giants, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both reported to be interested.
