Aston Villa have taken the lead against Ajax in their Europa Conference League round of 16 clash courtesy of an incredible header from Arsenal transfer target Ollie Watkins.
The tie was level at 0-0 coming into tonight’s match and Villa’s main man has now given the Premier League club the lead.
The striker is having an incredible season and tonight’s goal will be one of the highlights of it.
The Englishman’s performances have attracted interest from clubs such as Arsenal, who have been linked to Watkins ahead of the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta would like a new striker for the 2024/25 campaign and the Aston Villa star would be a great fit, but it remains to be seen if the Gunners make a move.
