Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is ready to make some big changes at the club after their poor performances this season.
The Red Devils are currently 14th in the league and after more than halfway stage of the season, they are closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top of the Premier League standings.
It is another season which has shown that their recruitment in the last few seasons has not been the best and Amorim is ready to make big calls to change that.
One of their biggest underperformers this season has been Joshua Zirkzee, who only joined the club in the summer transfer window.
The Dutch attacker, who was signed by former manager Erik ten Hag, has only managed to score three Premier League goals so far this season and against Newcastle United at Old Trafford in the previous match, he was taken off before halftime by the Man United boss.
A report from Fichajes has now claimed that the Portuguese manager is keen on the club to sell Zirkzee in the January transfer window.
The former Bologna attacker has failed to impress the new Man United manager in the two months that he has been in charge of the club.

Amorim is ready to get rid of Zirkzee and the manager is willing to use the January transfer window to allow the 23-year-old to find a new club.
The Dutch striker was taken off in the 33rd minute against the Magpies at Old Trafford and some of the Man United fans even booed the attacker for his poor performance.
The attacker has been linked with a move back to Serie A, with Juventus being named as his admirer.

I think the problem is at Man UTD and not managers. You can not have over 6 managers and interims all failing to find solutions to the poor performance. Let managers themselves find the players they believe in. The current team formation of 3-6-1 on the pitch does not fit the current breed of players. Amorin should seek a fitting team formation like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 for now as he finds players he believes in
No changing of playing formation those players are trash even if the coach change the playing formation to 4 3 3 they can perform better,consistence is their problem.
Yes you are very correct for the formation to remain at 4-3-3 then introduce his 3-4-3 formation once he has his 1st eleven team. At present there’s a lot of reshuffling and the players need to understand each other as well.

Take out 5 of our players from inside the penalty box , put two midfield players just outside the box and 3 attacking players together on the halfway line ,left or Right flank.

Why get rid of Garnacho. He was our most dangerous and productive forward before Amorim arrived. And Amorim doesn’t start him at all! Amorim wants to be the star of the team, not the players.
United need a goalkeeper who commands the 6 yard box from corners, Onana is too static on hs line. Maguire turns slower than the QE2, Mount is not the player he was at Chelsea and should be sold. Ericsson ,Casemiro and Lindelof along with Anthony and Zirkzee have to be offloaded. Keep Garnacho. Bring some of the United legends into the dressing room to tell these divas what playing for Manchester United is all about. Zirkzee may have failed to impress but what about the talent in the under 23’s being given a chance instead of spending more money on another failure. Hojland is not ripping up the statistics either so it is fair to say after the expenditure of buying Alexis Sanchez, Angel de Maria, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Depay, Falcao, Martial, Lukaka, Dan James, Fellaini, some of the expensive great talents that never made an impact at United and in all that time very few offensive players have come through from the Academy or been given the opportunity to express their talents.
General points are well made but Fellaini was always reliable, made the best of his strengths and admittedly limited abilities, led by example and never gave less than his all and it was the Boards fault for not backing Moyes in the window that he ended up costing so much. Moyes even said he wouldn’t have bought him if his other requests were granted. Dan James was relatively cheap at £15m and whilst never a great talent he was sold at a £10m profit.
Time for change bring on the youngs ones from the acadamy as they will be hungry to play for utd clear out the ones you dont want as english football should be about english players who have been home grown the amount of money utd pay out for foriegn players

Sometimes recruiting a player that the Coach does not fancy is suicidal but he will not suit the style of play. Zirkzee to me, suits the slow buildups and inter-passing moves, not the physical English style. You cannot blame him but those who recruited him

Zirkzee may have been good for the Italian Serie A but proved hopeless on the Premier League.

I’m tired of these current set of managers. Man utd’s academy youth players are in it’s DNA, yet they sign multi million pound soft league ‘potential’.
Man utd was built on fast attacking football, great young wingers, hard working intelligent midfielders, and lots of gritty passion and arrogance to play the game and believe we’re the best.
Utd manager’s must learn to trust the DNA, not their own ego’s so called philosophy.

Man u was a great attacking team. With a balanced squad from the academy and they would never do bulk purchases..only smart recruitment of senior players to boost the academy. They always had a dangerous front 3 and solid defensive and creative players and goal keepers..Onana is the worst goal keeper I have seen in the premier league.
There is talent in the academy..many old tired players especially in defence and midfield.
Every club goes through a spell and consequently it’s happening in Man Utd. Relatively as it maybe there are some players in the squad now that are liabilities like Casemiro, Mount, Eriksen, Antony is even the worst amongst them that should be shipped out ASAP and a couple of others. I also think that the captaincy of the club should be addressed. Bruno is not a leader. Amorin the coach should also get to business and address the faltering performance otherwise he will also be gone ….

Its actually true that the aging players who lack the energy to pump up the team are doing no good to the club. It’s better to get some of the youth players from the academy and a few players from elsewhere with high potential to get the red devils on track.
Sometimes it helps to sell players like that but in other cases it backfires. It’s all about patience sometimes so that the coach also understands the strengths and weaknesses of his players. How can he understand suc h players let alone his best 11 if he brings in a fresh set of players every game in the name of rotating players. To me the coach himself could be another problem because he doesn’t understand English football.
Ten Hag did the same thing when he came to OT. He tried to bring his own players (whom he had worked with before). Everyone listened. And what happened. Who said those players Amorim wants to bring will suit the English league. He may bring all 11 or so but still fail. He performed well in a small league in Portugal. Now he is under real test. His approach is also suspicious. Remember all these coaches who came after Sir Alex were said to be best coaches in the world. But our cabinet is still dry (league cup)

Amorim has to understand that his 3-4-2-1 formation will not work in the EPL. He has to know that he must change his formations in a bid to outsmart other managers in thee EPL. MAN U has failed woefully under Amorim because all the managers knows he will stick to his formation and so they prepare to not only make it ineffective but also try to capitalize on the flaws of the formation. A good manager does not stick with one formation but switches formations as thee occasion demands. That way u win matches and keep your opponents guessing. Haven said that, Amorim must look for a world class striker like Victor Osimhen or Victor Gyokores cos Hojlund is not a striker but a hustler who dies not know why he is on the pitch. He does not have positioning, neither does he have intelligence on and off thee ball. He scores mostly rebounds and thinks he is a striker. Naaaaa. Raahford can be turned around if he ditches the current managers of his career cos he need to know that he has to be focused on his career rather than living like a musical star.
United should adopt a strategy of buying from within(from premier league) like fergie used to do with players like…Schmeichel, Cantona, saha, rio, Rooney, berbatov, Carrick just to name. It’s better to pay alot for a player with premier league experience that to go for a so called stars from other leagues. Nowadays even our biggest rivals have adopted that strategy n that’s why you see them performing well. Also learn how to give your academy graduate a chance cuz they have club philosophy in their dna.

My point of view is change your formation and let us play English football not European stile it never worked because the coach before Fergie tried and failed dismally.For me it’s time we sell all foreign players and start afresh with academy graduates and some of our youthful players at U/18,21,23. Even our woman’s team is better then our mens team because the play English style of football.
