Chelsea are looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer transfer window.
According to French publication L’Equipe, they are now stepping up efforts to sign the player, and it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done. The Blues are expected to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, but they want to add another attacker to their roster.
Ekitike has been on the radar of Liverpool as well.
Chelsea want a marquee signing
