Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to continue his transfer business with the manager identifying his next target.

The Gunners have made some big moves this summer. They have already completed high-profile signings of Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres this summer.

After finishing second in the Premier League for three seasons in a row, the North London club have acted with ambition in the transfer market.

Their next aim is add a creative and attacking player in the wide position and the player they have on their radar is Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.

Eberechi Eze to Arsenal?

Fresh from his Community Shield success, Eze could be the next player to arrive at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Football Transfers have reported that the financial terms have been agreed betweet Arsenal and Palace for the transfer of the England international.

The Gunners are set to pay a total of €63.5 million (£55m) for the English star, with €34.5m (£30m) to be paid upfront. The remaining sum will be covered through additional instalments, the structure of which is still being discussed.

The main stumbling block to finalising the transfer lies not in finances but in Crystal Palace’s readiness to sanction the sale. Palace are determined to line up a suitable replacement before allowing one of their most influential players to depart.

Complicating matters further is the club’s current leadership situation. Palace have yet to appoint a replacement for departing sporting director Dougie Freedman, a figure who played a key role in transfer negotiations and recruitment strategy.

Without someone in that position to oversee the final stages of the deal and secure Eze’s successor, the club has been reluctant to give the final green light.

For Arsenal, securing Eze would be a significant statement of intent. Arteta is an admirer of the creative midfielder who scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists last season for the Eagles.

While the move is not yet over the line, all indications suggest that once Palace resolve their internal and recruitment matters, Eze could soon be making the switch to the Emirates Stadium.

  1. Eze or Lookman is a slightly better option than Trossard or MartinelliI that is true, but I believe Arsenal are waiting on the Rodrygo situation first, as Rodrygo is another level above Eze and Lookman and one of the best left midfielders in the world.

Rodrygo will cost around £70m, Eze will cost around £55m or Lookman for £45m.

I would prefer to spend the extra £15m and get Rodrygo who is not just better than the other two but also better value because he is 3 years younger at only 24 years old and would have a sell on value.

    1. I don’t think Rodrigo is better than Ezej or Lookman in that position or any other. In fact quite the opposite. Eze > Lookman > Rodrigo

  2. It’s not worth waiting for someone who doesn’t want us as a first choice!
I’d rather take a lesser player like Eze and coach him up to a level where he can destroy the opposition without breaking the bank and being a selfish brat who is absolutely spoiled rotten, as I suspect Rodrigo probably is!
Could be wrong but that’s where I am on this,
Eze has something to prove, and will drive himself and other’s to be better versions of themselves.
Arteta is a great coach and deserves more respect than our fan base gives him.
I hope we have a great successful season, but I know that win or loose it’s down to the players and the coaches not any one individual!

  3. I guess it’s time to sign players that want to come to Emirates……..look @ Gyokeres & Noni , they are fighting for the badge because they are where they want to be. We can’t convince players to come to us if they don’t want to.

    1. EZE could play both left winger and midfielder to supplement Odeggard considering his injury problems.
EZE is mature and ready and yo for trophies ans silverware.
Arsenal need him because relying in just Martinelli isn’t prudent Al all.

  4. Arsenal better go for Eze as he will slot into the PL easily and won’t need time to adapt to the pace and physical rigour of the league.

  5. Lookman is the best option among the three. Have you seen him play? He is quite explosive and unpredictable, plus can also top strike. He is absolutely a value for Money

    1. Eze has that unpredictability and magical foot work. This to me ,makes him better than Rodrigo and lookman

    1. I think eze would be a better option given the fact that he has won both the FA cup and the community shield makes him a winner that’s the kind of mentality that most Arsenal players are lacking

  6. Ge lookman for loan with obligation to buy according to his performance but I believe he will explore. Then getvMorgan of Aston villa to compete odegard. Just saying to save money and also being a wise business.

  7. Eze is the best choice imo. He doesn’t need adaptation to the E P L. He is a proven premier league player.

  8. Give me Eze this week before playing man U, Arsenal need to tackle the issue we have at the left side Saka have done well for us..

  9. Eze is perfect for the left wing stricking role and he will Surely deliver. He is determined and not an injury of pron player. Arsenal will have a good season. it may just be our time to the podium again for the PL Title. well done to coach Ateta and his coaching crew.
