Liverpool could use Adam Wharton
They need more defensive cover and control in the middle of the park. The England International would be an exceptional addition. He is a world-class talent, and he has all the attributes to develop into a future star. He is already a key player in the Premier League, and he will only improve with coaching and experience.
He will add defensive cover and control, along with composure, in the middle of the park. Apart from his ability to win the ball back for his team and break up opposition attacks, he is capable of controlling the tempo of the game from the deep and recycling the possession.

Wharton could transform Liverpool
He could be the ideal midfielder for Liverpool. His arrival would also allow Liverpool to use Ryan Gravenberch in his natural role. The Netherlands International has been operating in a defensive midfield role, but he is better suited to central midfield.
Crystal Palace will not want to lose a tremendous talent like him easily, and they are likely to demand a premium. Liverpool will have to break the Bank if they want to get the deal done. It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.
