Another day, another Sunderland signing as international star striker joins the ranks
by stresster on August 22nd, 2008Roy Keane is a man on a mission and won’t rest until he has a squad teeming with rejects from other Premier League clubs. He has bled Tottenham dry this summer, looting Chimbonda, Malbranque and Tainio, snatched Diouf from Bolton, snared Cisse from Marseille and now there’s another striker making his way up north as we speak.
David Healy is an interesting player, in that his international form for Northern Ireland is sensational, yet the jury’s out as to whether he can cut it in the top flight of English football (perhaps that’s because the Premier League is a higher standard of football). Nevertheless, The Guardian report that Keano likes the look of this forward, who will have a job on his hands getting into the team!
“David will be a good signing for us,” said Keane. “He has lots of experience at the top level and his international record is phenomenal.”
How very true Roy, although will he really be anything more than a squad player at the Stadium of Light? It’s hard to imagine him plundering the goals for the Black Cats, although it does give the Sunderland manager another attacking option, even from the bench. Is this a good, bad or just average signing>?

It looks like Roy Keane knows what he wants and he has the Sunderlands board backing in the transfer market. I think Liverpool owners should support Rafa.

At least Liverpool will still be in the Prem next season..
The only mission Keane is on is to get these half @rsed knob-jockeys out of our illustrious division!
