Chelsea are ready to sell youngster Romelu Lukaku to Tottenham this summer but only once Jose Mourinho secures the services of Atletico Madrid ace Diego Costa according to the Daily Mail.

The 20 year old Belgian is currently enjoying his season long loan spell at Everton and is a major White Hart Lane target with the North London club keen to strengthen their ailing attack.

It appears Lukaku is not part of Mourinho’s long term plans though he will look to garner at least £20m from the sale of a player who cost the Blues £18m back in 2011, though has only made one Premier League start for the Stamford Bridge side.

Tottenham have seen big money signings Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado fail to deliver and will definitely be in the market for a fresh prolific marksman to lead their attack and a move to Lukaku appears to be on the cards.

Prior to his move to Goodison Park Lukaku netted an impressive 17 times for West Brom in 2012/13, that despite making just 20 Premier League starts for the Baggies.

Mourinho is likely to allow Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o to leave this summer as he seeks to re-shuffle his Chelsea attack, with £31.5m rated Atletico Madrid man Diego Costa top of his wish-list.
