Chelsea & Man United Players Included In The Netherlands’ 2014 World Cup Squad

Van Persie will be leading the line once more for the Dutch.

Ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil the 32 nations taking part are starting to name their squads that will be traveling to the tournament.

The Netherlands are the latest country to pick the 30 players that will be in the provisional lineup, before that is narrowed down to 23 before the competition begins on June 12.

There are seven Premier League representatives in the squad, with Swansea City having two in the shape of goalkeeper Michel Vorm and loanee Jonathan De Guzman.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, Tim Krul of Newcastle United, Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar, Leroy Fer of Norwich City and Chelsea’s Patrick van Aanholt (currently on-loan at Vitesse Arnhem) make up those from England.

Goalkeepers: Jasper Cillessen (Ajax), Tim Krul (Newcastle United), Michel Vorm (Swansea City), Jeroen Zoet (PSV Eindhoven)

Defenders: Daley Blind (Ajax), Stefan de Vrij, Daryl Janmaat, Terence Kongolo, Bruno Martins Indi (Feyenoord), Karim Rekik (PSV Eindhoven), Patrick van Aanholt (Vitesse Arnhem), Paul Verhaegh (FC Augsburg), Tonny Vilhena (Feyenoord), Ron Vlaar (Aston Villa), Joel Veltman (Ajax).

Midfielders: Jordy Clasie (Feyenoord), Jonathan de Guzman (Swansea City), Nigel de Jong (AC Milan), Leroy Fer (Norwich City), Arjen Robben (Bayern Munich), Wesley Sneijder (Galatasaray), Rafael van der Vaart (Hamburg), Georginio Wijnaldum (PSV Eindhoven).

Strikers: Jean-Paul Boetius (Feyenoord), Memphis Depay (PSV Eindhoven), Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Schalke 04), Dirk Kuyt (Fenerbahce), Jeremain Lens (Dynamo Kiev), Quincy Promes (FC Twente), Robin van Persie (Manchester United).
