The Goodison Park manager visited the Netherlands training camp and is said to be tracking attacker Jeremain Lens and no-nonsense defender Stefan de Vrij.
Lends is a long term Toffees target and is currently at Dynamo Kiev though could perhaps be tempted by the chance of a move to the Premier League.
Feyenoord defender De Vrij, who has captained Holland in a recent friendly, is said to be a target for both Man United and Arsenal and is a player with great potential who has perhaps outgrown his current club Feyenoord.
