Look away, Arsenal fans. If Cesc Fabregas’ Chelsea debut performance is anything to go by, fans at Stamford Bridge are in for a treat.
Chelsea summer signing Cesc Fabregas enjoyed a tremendous Blues debut, maintaining possession and dictating his team’s tempo with some excellent passes.
The Spanish World Cup winner also set up fellow debutant Diego Costa with a delightful through ball, and Jose Mourinho will be immensely encouraged by his performance.

The fine start to Fabregas’ Blues career will not go down quite so well with Arsenal fans. The 27 year-old captained the Gunners before moving to his home club of FC Barcelona three years ago, and was expected to stay there for the rest of his career. Or at least not move to Arsenal’s London rivals.
