New England Revolution’s Lee Nguyen has been touted to make a move to St. Mary’s Stadium.
Lee Nguyen has arguably been one of the best players in the MLS over the past few years, and his performances have attracted the attention of several European clubs.
Arsenal were linked with a move earlier in the player’s career, but it is Southampton who now lead the chase for his signature.
Koeman has been astute so far in the transfer market, and Nguyen could be a good addition. It remains to be seen whether the transfer does come to pass given the strict work permit regulations in England.
New England Revolution will play LA Galaxy in the MLS Cup final after overcoming New York Red Bulls in the semi final.
