Pellegrini eyes major transfer coup.
Manchester City look ready to blow their rivals out of the water with a £64m bid to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco in January, according to the Daily Express.
The Spanish international is an old favourite of City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who worked with him during their time together at former club Malaga.
Isco became regarded as one of the best young players in the world under Pellegrini’s guidance earlier in his career, and is now a top player at the Bernabeu after some fine form this season.
Still, he may be available for the right price this winter, with City seemingly ready to smash their transfer record to bring him to the Etihad Stadium for around £64m.
The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are also tracking the immensely gifted 22-year-old, but may now be set to miss out on his signature this winter.
