The Spanish international has recently emerged as a surprise target for the Gunners as he stalls on signing a new contract at the Bernabeu, supposedly putting him firmly on Arsene Wenger’s radar.
Arsenal are in need of improvements at the back and may now be willing to go all out to land this world class centre-back, who has been one of the best in the world for many years in a glittering career for club and country.
Although other top clubs are also interested in the 28-year-old, Arsenal have made inquiries to Ramos’ agent and are keeping an eye on his situation ahead of next summer.
